Research and Evaluation

Measuring the impact of The Food Trust's work

The Issue

Evaluation is an essential component of all of The Food Trust's work.  Without an understanding of which interventions are successful and which are less so, communities would lack the information they need to address their food access issues efficiently and effectively. Through research and evaluation, we can identify successful food access strategies, the first step toward replicating those efforts in communities around the country.

The Food Trust Solution

The Food Trust’s research and evaluation team measures the impact of our organization’s direct programming, education and policy work.

We aim to share knowledge with and strengthen the work of other organizations, projects and individuals in order to achieve affordable nutritious food for all people. We integrate research initiatives into our program efforts in order to document success, build on lessons learned and create models for replication.
